Since this is our last day together before I leave on my trip, we got up this morning and rode the bike to Magnolia House for breakfast, where they have the best pancakes in the world (no, I am not exaggerating)! When we got home at 9:30, the parade in our neighblrhood was just beginning. Families had gone all out to decorate bikes and scooters and everyone had on their patriotic shirts. It was really fun for me because I hadn't seen a lot of the kids since the last day of school, and they got really excited to see me at the parade. It made for a good start to Independance Day!
